About Neil Barot
Background
I’m Neil Barot—a writer, performer, and changemaker driven by storytelling, service, and social impact. From founding two nonprofits to leading student government and performing on stage, I’ve spent the last few years using both my voice and actions to shape spaces around me.

Whether I’m creating episodes for Where the Water Speaks, organizing voter registration drives, or performing in musical theatre productions, my work is rooted in a deep belief: stories can change systems.

I've developed a multidimensional identity that bridges the arts and public service. With over 1,000+ volunteer hours and leadership across civic, cultural, and artistic initiatives, I plan to pursue a degree in the humanities while continuing to act and advocate for equity through the platforms I build.

This site is a home for the projects, performances, and purpose that define who I am—and who I’m becoming.
